Ray White Commercial appoints Matthew Ramsay in strategic new partnership

A major new appointment has further bolstered the ranks of the Ray White Commercial executive team in NSW.

Commercial real estate industry veteran Matthew Ramsay has joined Ray White Commercial NSW as Director & Partner to work alongside high-profile property specialist Jeff Moxham.

Mr Ramsay has 20 years’ property experience and in recent years has had a pivotal role in brokering some of Australia’s highest profile deals.

These include 88 Christie Street, St Leonards for $305 million, the sale of Channel 7’s Pyrmont building for $180 million and Channel 9’s Willoughby building for $147.5 million.

At Ray White Commercial NSW, Mr Ramsay will be responsible for sales and leasing across multiple property asset classes.

“I am very excited about joining the Ray White Commercial business and the opportunities ahead in an established business with a view on growth and focus across multiple asset classes,” he says.

“The market is going through a transition phase and challenges in certain areas and we can offer our clients a unique offering with our knowledge and experience.”

Previously, Mr Ramsay was Director of the CBRE Residential Development Sites Sales Division and spent five years leading a team which transacted more than $1 billion per year in sales.

Earlier in his career, he was a Development Manager for FKP-Mulpha where he drove a number of key commercial and industrial projects in Queensland and NSW, including the Norwest Business Park in Sydney’s Hills District.

Mr Ramsay also spent eight years at JLL in an industrial sales and leasing role which involved strata, investment sales and leasing, as well as becoming involved in residential development sites sales as that market gentrified.

Ray White Commercial NSW Managing Director & Partner Jeff Moxham says: “Matthew’s experience across all asset classes will bring a wealth of knowledge. He is a senior figure in the industry and we are excited to have him on board.”

Ray White Commercial Director Dan White says: “Matthew is a great fit for our business. He has an impeccable reputation for client-focused business, and Jeff and I are looking forward to growing our business together.”

Mr Ramsay commenced in his new role on June 25. He is based at the Ray White Group’s Sydney headquarters in King Street.
