MonstarZen Dojo snaps up Sydney CBD lease

MARTIAL arts and fitness group MonstarZen Dojo has secured new premises in the Sydney CBD financial precinct.

The team of martial artists, yoga instructors, and fitness experts, have leased 201.50sq m* at Level 3, 19-21 Hunter Street.

The lease was negotiated by Ray White Commercial South Sydney’s John Skufris on behalf of a private owner, Megaboom Holdings.

The group joined Vision Personal Training and F45 as other tenants currently in the same building and the initial lease term is one year.

“The tenancy had been occupied by a yoga studio for over 15 years and then more recently by a table tennis group,” Mr Skufris said.

“The building is near the intersection of Pitt Street and is within close walking distance to Wynyard Station.”

Mr Skufris noted recent leases to similar businesses included a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy, leasing a ground floor tenancy of circa 80sq m* in Waterloo, subject to development application approval.

“There’s also a mixed martial arts gym leasing fully-fitted premises of circa 650sq m* in Mascot. The initial lease terms were two years and three years respectively, both with imminent start dates,” he said.
